The late Imam is survived by a wife, 11 children and many grand

On Monday 25th May 2015, the founder of Dialogue, Reconcilation, and Peace (DREP) centre, Catholic Arch Bishop of Jos, our Lordship Bishop Kaigama, with all the members of DREP which include other religion and traditional rulers, went and condole with the family of the Late Sheikh Dawud, and the entire Muslims in Jos.
Late Sheikh Zakariyya Balarabe Dawud was an Ambassador of peace to nigeria, and contributed to peace building in Plateau State. He was a Stake Holder of DREP. He rarely miss any consultative dialogue and reconciliation meeting held by Bishop Kaigama in DREP Centre.
Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God (Matthew 5:9). May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace
His last visit at DREP Centre before his demise, was when he came for the 2015 pre-election peace accord agreement meeting set up by DREP. The Plateau State gubernatorial aspirants of both APC and PDP and all religious and cultural leaders were present to all sign the peace accord. We will miss our own great man, a man his heart is after peace, an ambassador of Peace to our nation Nigeria, a man we knew as Sheikh Zakariyya Balarabe Dawud.
