From August 11th to August 14th 2014, DREP had a training workshop which was facilitated by Drep Program Manager Mr Chris Ogbonna, and co facilitated by Hajiya Fatima Madaki (Founder ESLYI and a Mandela YALI WashingtonFellow 2014). The workshop was to
train 5 people from Jos North, Jos South, and Barkin Ladi so they get a "deeper understanding" in conflict transformation and peace building, then go back and impact it on other youths in there community. The 15 resource persons where then assigned to three DREP project team members, to monitor and evaluate how they carry out the peace building training, in their respective community after the workshop.
- Solomon Kaima (DREP Program Assistant), is to coordinate Barkin Ladi community
- Jerry Bulus (Drep project Team member), is to coordinate Jos South community
- Prosper Ikechukwu, Egeonu (DREP project team member), is to coordinate Jos North community
Mrs Barakat O. Muhammed (DREP Accountant), also was involved. She supported by making sure that refreshment was well handled, and she help put in suggestions during group work assignments. PEACE BEGIN WITH A SMILE!!
